A Girl Scout close up!

Natalie Tuttle

Meet Natalie Tuttle, leadership experience manager

What is your favorite color? Turquoise

What is your favorite food? Sushi

What are you listening to right now? 90s pop music (Spice Girls at the moment)

Why did you join Girl Scouts? I started as a counselor at Camp Little Cloud in 2008 because I wanted to work with kids for the summer, but I fell in love with Girl Scouts as an organization and continued to be a counselor 3 more summers.  When I found out there was a full-time position available I jumped at the opportunity.

What do you like best about Girl Scouts?  The opportunities it affords and confidence it instills in both girls and women who are involved.

Why should girls join Girl Scouts?  Because of all the cool stuff they could do as a member!  Camping, trips, events, crafts, games, making new friends, learning new skills, and gaining confidence!  All in a “girls only” environment.

What do you want to be when you grow up?  A world traveler!

What is your camp name and how did you get it? Peach—I chose it because my grandparents used to call me a “little Peach” when I was being grouchy as a kid.  And peaches are delicious, of course.

Why should Girl Scouts participate in the Pen Pal program? It’s a great way to make new friends and learn about people who are (not that far away) but different than you!  It’s also a good way for younger girls to practice letter writing, penmanship, spelling, and grammar skills as well as a chance for all girls to express themselves in a healthy way.
