Girl Scout Program Center is Ready for You!

I am excited to announce that reservations are now being accepted for the Girl Scout Program Center!  After more than a year of planning, designing and constructing, the Program Center, located in Rock Island, Illinois is now open and ready for your visit.

The Program Center has a lot of great features, including the slide which is a super fast way to get from our second level to the first. It’s been a huge hit with girls and adults alike!

It also has a dual kitchen, two classrooms, an art room with outside access for those extra messy projects and a large open area on the main floor for large group activities and overnight sleeping space.

This location is great for both day events and group overnights. We already have many types of requests from troops to work on Leadership Journey activities and a service unit who plans to host a cookie rally and overnight event.

Discover more about the Program Center (including details about the facility, area activities to supplement your visit and to download reservation paperwork) at  http://girlscoutstoday.org/program-center.

Also, we are looking for photos of girls and adults using the Program Center, if you take a great photo during your visit please send them to me at AngelaV@GirlScoutsToday.org!

That’s all for this week of outdoor program with Angela Ventris. Check back next week for more excited news and adventures in outdoor program!
